The historically unique portfolio shows the last big test runs before the final carnival parade in São Paulo. Brazilian Carnival is an explosion of human joie de vivre - certainly the greatest show on earth.

When the test runs took place, the Covid-19 pandemic was already raging with full force in China. Many Brazilian samba schools carried large banners in front of them, expressing their emotional pain over the disturbing images and information from China.

Carnival then took place on February 24 and 25, 2020. On February 25, 2020, it was officially declared that the virus had reached Brazil. 

The country was brutally hit, the hope of being able to celebrate Carnival again, the Brazilians willingly pushed forward. When the pandemic will be over, the carnival will be all the more beautiful - the credo of many Brazilians in a very difficult time.
