Orange, Gold & Pink

The sun slowly sank beneath the horizon, painting the sky with a rich tapestry of oranges, gold and pinks.

A slight chill crept into the air, but the man and woman sitting on the beach of Ipanema, Brazil, were too engrossed in conversation to notice.

By the time the light was completely gone and they were left with only the twinkling stars above, the man and woman felt like old friends. They laughed and shared stories, and it seemed like time was standing still.

Finally, as the last of the light disappeared, the man and woman watched in awe as the city lights slowly came on, transforming the beach into an illuminated wonderland.

They watched until the stars appeared to be dancing in the night sky, then finally, the man and woman said their goodbyes and parted ways.

The man knew he would never forget that magical evening on the beach of Ipanema, and as he walked away, he smiled, knowing that he had found a friend.
